Transforming lives through the art of barbering
The BarbeReyes Project was born from Jose Reyes’ journey as a barber and community leader. What began as serving families here in the U.S.—through mentorship, education, and support—soon grew into something larger. After spending time in El Salvador, the country of his father’s roots, Jose felt a deep calling to expand this work abroad. Today, the BarbeReyes Project bridges both worlds: providing barbering education, mentorship, and wellness programs in the U.S. while also investing in families and youth in El Salvador. With every haircut, class, and program, we’re building confidence, opportunity, and brighter futures—one community at a time.
